“Everything’s going to be alright, buddy.” Juan said to the little odd-looking creature. His first discovery of a new species. He just forgot about the other astronauts also there, researching about the new discoveries. There was a loud “meow” from the little blob. “f-f-food” the little blob said in a struggle. Juan laughed and took a “Space Cracker” from a small jar and tossed it to the blob. The blob began to look at it and slowly moved over it. “Whad’ya doing, bud?” The blob walked back and only crumbs remained at the spot where the cracker was. “Woah.” Juan gasped. The ship began to shake. His friend, Audra, shouted into the speakerphone: “THE SHIP IS UNDER ATTACK!” Juan looked out the glass window and squinted. He heard a small sound behind him: “Space Invaders.”

 

“You can talk, little buddy?” Juan looked in awe at the blob. “Let me get you a name. How about Mythos?” Mythos smiled, little stars coming out of its eyes. Mythos began to grow taller—it was forming legs and arms—and a little head popped out. A little girl in pink appeared. Mythos was a shapeshifter. It walked over to the window and looked at the little rectangles that were coming closer. “Woah.” Juan smiled in surprise. Mythos spoke, “Do not be afraid, they are humans as well and they like to roam around here. I see them all the time. They are friendly. The only problem, you know, is that your ship looks like a Euthro Cluster.” Juan stared again at the Space Invaders. They had multiple ships in different types of colors. “What is a Euthro Cluster? And why would they attack it?” Mythos explained, “How do you not know? Anyways, it is a cluster of dust, space dust and broken rocks. Light “creatures” like me can stick onto them and live. When anything much big and heavier touches a Cluster, it explodes to a hundred pieces and for ships can blur vision. If we stick onto a cluster and it explodes, we float onto another one. There are some tough ones so that’s what the Space Invaders are after. I can’t believe you don’t know what that is.” Juan looked at the Space Invaders and then rushed to the captain. “Au-I mean boss, (Audra’s face drooped) we need to turn on the hologram illusion because the others think we’re a Euthro Cluster.” Audra’s face lightened up and asked, “Where’d you remember that stuff? And how do you think we look like a Cluster?” Mythos appeared from behind and Audra activated the hologram. The Space Invaders stopped firing. 

“Thank you, Mythos.” Juan laughed. Mythos smiled and stars appeared. They all cheered, and Mythos helped. Then everyone heard a sound of loud meows. A hundred different more Mythos with different colors appeared! Everyone got surprised and before they could cause chaos, Mythos stopped them and made a loud meow. The Space Invaders send a message to their ship: “TALK?” Audra decided to fly closer to them. They welcomed the Space Invaders in and had a little talk about what they did.

So…The space invaders are a group of people who look for special creatures in space. Like the actual thing, you have to attack them, so they are attacking you but I don’t want a lot of brutal things so-
